San Francisco Bay Area Travel Photography
Taking a 7-hour flight to the West Coast with a fidgety toddler is well worth it when you are met with sweeping Bay Area views.
Our little family of three stayed in Berkeley for most of the week, where our rental car begrudgingly trekked up steep hills.
We were met with fog and rain for almost the entire week, but it didn’t stop us from exploring. I had my heart set on seeing Big Sur, so when Highway 1 was closed for miles due to mud slides, I was bummed. But, we made the most of it and drove south from Monterey for about an hour until we were met with road blocks. The coastal views were incredible. Muir Woods was also closed, so we hiked alongside elk and coyotes at Point Reyes National Seashore instead. Adelaide had an enormous meltdown halfway through, but it was still my favorite part of our trip.
I can’t thank Riss and Jon enough for flying me out to photograph their wedding at The Brazilian Room. I’m so excited to share their photos soon. California, you totally have my heart.
