Edith + Yoni | Awbury Arboretum | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer
During the early wedding planning stages, Edith and Yoni let me know they were looking for relaxed photographer with a sense of humor, who could capture moments they didn’t even realize were happening. I always aim to photograph moments that might have otherwise gone unnoticed, so I’m so grateful they landed on me.
It was such a colorful celebration, with a subtle “May the 4th be with you” theme underneath it all. Their two fur babies, Teddy and Archie, were also present. I had a hard time prying myself away from petting them (think Antoni in this corgi scene). They brought together a powerful vendor team, with Birchtree Catering and Vault + Vine pulling out all the stops. As much as I love flower crowns, I would not be mad if tinsel jackets became the newest trend. Edith was beaming the entire day, but to see her happily shimmying in tinsel was priceless.
This wedding was a serious dream to work on and everything came together beautifully. Edith and Yoni have been through so much and deserve everything awesome life has to offer, including all things tinsel. Also, those pretty little honey shortbread cookies by Cake Life Bake Shop were everything.
A huge thanks to my second shooter, Nellie Morgan, who is a gem of a human being and dealt with me being self-conscious about my newly-installed Invisalign the entire day (already moved on to a nighttime retainer, praise be!).
