Three Generations: Philadelphia Museum of Art Family Session
When my brother-in-law’s girlfriend reached out to ask if I could take photos of her with some of the ladies in her family who were visiting from Virginia and New York, I was pumped. I figured if they were anywhere near as cute as her, I’d be in good company (and I was right). Susan’s mom, grandma, grandma’s sister and her daughter and granddaughter came to town for the Philadelphia Flower Show during one of the coldest weekends in a long time. Despite the windy weather, everyone was in good spirits during our shoot around the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Susan’s grandma and her sister lived in Philadelphia when they were growing up, which made the trip even more special. We even loosely reenacted an old photo taken of the two of them near rocks at the Museum.
At the end of the session, the six ladies packed into my 17-year-old Subaru for a clown car-esque ride to the train station for their next adventure. Their Southern accents were as charming as can be and cracked me up the entire time. I hope they had as much fun as I did…I can’t wait for their next visit!
