Philadelphia Wedding Photographer | Julia + Scott | Power Plant Productions + Race Street Pier
There’s something especially romantic about a rainy day wedding in Philadelphia. Surrounded by skyscrapers emerging from a sea of mist and raindrops reflecting on windows. For Julia and Scott’s first look, we met in the fountains of Dilworth Park. I’m so energized when couples are up for adventure. These two didn’t mind running through puddles with me on their wedding day.
After spending some time around City Hall, we took a cab to Race Street Pier, where we were met by a fog-shrouded Benjamin Franklin Bridge in the background (and the couple’s closest family and friends). Julia and Scott were kind enough to dedicate an hour to couple portraits, which meant we could get creative while walking to their venue — Power Plant Productions. The Old City photo studio has been one of my favorite Philadelphia wedding venues for years.
I know I say it a lot, but I really am so grateful that this is my job. Not only did I get to capture a celebration for two amazing souls, but I also left with a favor bag full of delicious cookies. I really am the luckiest.
