Philadelphia Proposal Photography | L + T at Rittenhouse Square

I had the pleasure of photographing L’s proposal to T earlier this spring. Their Philadelphia proposal took place underneath the cherry blossoms lining their street. Spring in Philadelphia is a lovely time to get engaged because the cherry blossoms are usually in full bloom.

We walked around the neighborhood with their pups and friends and ended up in Rittenhouse Square Park. The park is special to them since they often visit it as a couple. Their pink and periwinkle outfits were the perfect pop of color. Their proposal day was supposed to be rainy, but seemed to clear up as soon as they became engaged. The universe is for sure on our side (and super queer…thanks universe).

Philadelphia proposal photography is a joy because I have the privilege of documenting special milestones. It’s for sure not without an adrenaline rush and peeking behind corners, which keeps me on my toes in the best way. Now I know a little bit how Tom Cruise must feel in Mission Impossible…minus the scientology.

I especially love how every proposal is so different and being a small part of the planning that goes into the day.

Thanks to L for trusting me to document such a beautiful and intimate Philadelphia proposal. And to their pups for being the cutest fluffs in town.
