Lorimer Park photo session
Kathryn and Alex were kind enough to be available for a last-minute photo session for a segment with 6abc at Lorimer Park. I was nervous about being interviewed, but their presence made it so much easier to get comfortable in front of the camera when I’m so used to being behind the lens. They were so natural while being photographed. It was a joy to witness them collaborate with different poses. Alex and I shared how we’ve recently been inspired by David Suh’s posing videos.
The two originally bonded over food as friends. Once they started dating, cooking together or hosting dinner parties for their friends were go-to plans. They also enjoy traveling and being involved in their community, whether volunteering with Code for Philly or working out. Alex is part of the DEVO bike team and Radical Adventure Riders, while Kathryn recently joined Queer Run.
