I met Marian and Radha just after sunrise for their fall elopement at Bartram’s Garden. They brought their bunny, Peaches, who even led a tarot reading during the ceremony.
The marriers wanted to lean into their special interests by embracing nerdy Hylian/Middle Earthy vibes, with incredible sword replicas. Like many of the people I work with, Marian and Radha described themselves as awkward and expressed that they were most comfortable being in motion–whether swinging, referencing their favorite Bollywood movies while dancing together, or petting Peaches.
We wrapped up by documenting a bit of time together at their home, where I had the privilege of signing their marriage license before heading out. Marian and Radha have built a lovely life together and it was an honor to be able to document their Bartram’s Garden elopement for them.
