Liz + Jimmy | American Swedish Historical Museum | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer
Confession time: Whenever a new couple signs on board for wedding photography, I make sure we connect on Instagram so we can get to know each other better. Usually I follow them and scroll a bit to check out if they have pets, what their hobbies are, and where their latest travels have taken them. With Liz and Jimmy, I was instantly charmed. I found myself lost in a sea of their love story, told through a feed of random snapshots.
Drawn-on pistachio shells, transformed into animals on a notepad backdrop. A heart-shaped mushroom pizza with a punny “fun-gi” caption. A flyer for a lost tortoise named Captain Turt. Photos of them hiking together, most recently at FDR Park, where they’d soon be getting married.
Liz and Jimmy are two of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met. It’s no surprise to me that their wedding at the American Swedish Historical Museum was one for the books. When they reached out to me initially, they said the most important part of their wedding was bringing together all of the people who they care about (and who care about them) in one place. And they did just that. Their wedding was the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple, with an incredible team of vendors.
Here are some of my favorite moments from their American Swedish Historical Museum wedding in Philadelphia.
