Bucks County Wedding Photographer | Liz + Andrew | Philadelphia Glider Council
One of my favorite weddings to date took place inside the aircraft hangar of a gliderport where the groom, Andrew, has been flying since he was 12. As a librarian, Liz put her effervescent brain to good use and spent months pouring so much love into the details. She even folded over 200 paper airplanes out of book pages for decor and designed her own wedding dress, which her friend made.
The couple created a dream team of vendors and allowed us all the freedom to do what we do best, which is always much appreciated. As always, Peicha and the team at Vault and Vine outdid themselves, from cake decorating to a gorgeous arbor. Liz and Andrew did a self-uniting ceremony, which is a really intimate option for couples who get married in Pennsylvania and want to add their own authentic touch. All vows should use Ron Swanson’s “end of speech” at the conclusion, much like Liz’s did.
Many thanks to Veronika Paluch, who joined me as second shooter and overall moral support superhero since it was my first wedding back postpartum from baby #2. Also lots of love to Aleisha at Bridechilla for featuring Liz + Andrew’s wedding on her blog. If you’re in the midst of wedding planning and not listening to the Bridechilla podcast already, I highly recommend it. I’m excited to announce that this wedding has also been selected as a real wedding feature in the printed 2020 Spring/Summer issue of The Knot Pennsylvania/Delaware. I can’t wait to see one of my favorite couples in print on newsstands this November.
