Elizabeth + Clayton | Schuylkill River Engagement Session | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer
When Elizabeth and Clayton sent me a giddy Ron Swanson gif leading up to their engagement shoot, I knew these were my people.
We started their session at the Schuylkill River trail, which they biked to from home. I wanted the shoot to feel like I was joining them on a date, from biking on the banks to dressing up for a night out. We walked down to Schuylkill River Park, where we crept on dogs and got to know each other by swapping podcast recs. After a quick outfit change, we made our way to Cira Green, a rooftop park overlooking the city.
Taking full advantage of magic hour, we walked through Penn Park and down to South Street Bridge, where the views of the skyline were perfect.
The shoot felt wonderfully “Philadelphia,” while capturing Elizabeth and Clayton’s personalities along the way. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding next year at Manayunk Brewing Company. I’m so flattered to have been able to document their love for each other (I mean, those shoulder kisses, come on).
