Philadelphia Wedding Photographer | Brianne + Bernie | La Peg at FringeArts
La Peg at FringeArts is one of my new favorite wedding venues in Philadelphia. The theater’s stage is the perfect alternative ceremony space for offbeat couples — with moody stage lighting and beautifully backlit windows. I love the layout of the industrial restaurant as the backdrop for cocktail hour and dancing. Outside, guests can play corn hole in the beer garden, under the glow of string lights, surrounded by the breathtaking view of Penn’s Landing. And the food…dear God, the food. I had no idea I could develop such strong feelings for grits. GRITS. Amazing. Seriously the most heartfelt food I’ve tasted at a wedding in forever.
Bernie and Brianne’s wedding was so perfectly them. The bride honored her grandmother by wearing the same dress 65 years later. They gathered with friends and family at Penn’s Landing before heading inside to celebrate. A string arrangement of the Game of Thrones theme serenaded guests before the ceremony. Even their dessert table was incredibly unique and had the most gorgeous cakes made by a friend.
Future couples: Please choose LaPeg at FringeArts as your wedding venue and hire me, not just because I loved taking photos there, but because I need to experience that mac n’ cheese again.
