Megan + Jim | Knowlton Mansion | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer
One of the best parts of blogging a wedding is being able to revisit the day. Months later, I remember the details like it was yesterday. Megan and Jim’s wedding at Knowlton Mansion brings me right back to the heat of the summer.
Watching Jim sweat it out (literally, because it was a thousand degrees) in the shade while waiting for Megan to tap him on the shoulder for the first look. Cooling off in the wine cellar, where empty, earth-toned bottles lined the stone walls. The unwavering pride from two mothers who were acknowledged publicly during the ceremony. Beach balls bouncing back and forth between guests who were undoubtedly enjoying themselves. The rush of adrenaline at the end of a night when the bridal party created a sparkler send off for the couple. And the sigh of relief when no one was blown up in the process.
Thanks to the incredibly talented Brittney Raine for joining me. It was fun exploring the Mansion’s nooks together and sharing excitement for peeling wallpaper, antique nursery furniture, and the realistic fake food we discovered.
