Nicole + Matt | Race Street Pier + Power Plant Studios, Philadelphia
Every wedding is so ridiculously unique to the couple. Even though I had just photographed a wedding at Power Plant Productions, Nicole and Matt’s celebration was an entirely different experience.
The bridal party gathered at Race Street Pier and without any instructions, formed two lines to create an impromptu aisle for Nicole and Matt’s first look. Right after the emotional reveal, I pulled Nicole and Matt to the side for some privacy. The Ride the Ducks boat had other plans, however, greeting them with waving and cheering tourists. It was one of my favorite spontaneous moments from the day.
A shuttle carted us off to some of the couple’s favorite Philadelphia locations — City Hall and the Painted Bride Art Center — before we arrived at Power Plant for the ceremony and reception.
All of the details were coordinated beautifully by the couple, along with Lauren from Something Blu Weddings.
Congrats again to Nicole and Matt! I had a blast with you and your hilarious bridal party ♥
