Engagement: Katrina + Lance | University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology
Gentle, hidden moments between a couple. Like when he wipes a snowflake off her brow during a blizzard. Or when she brings an electric razor in her purse because he said he missed a spot that morning in passing. These brief instances make me feel so warm. Even in the middle of the snowstorm when I can’t feel my fingers on the shutter.
Katrina and Lance both work on the campus of The University of Pennsylvania and walk by the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology every day. Snow was coating the campus when we met for their engagement session, so we spent some time thawing inside and exploring the different exhibits. The Sphinx Gallery was my favorite room — filled with larger-than-life remnants from a royal palace excavated in Egypt.
We made our way through the Museum’s Chinese New Year festivities, back to the courtyard, where the snow made everything feel still and quiet.
Katrina and Lance’s wedding is just a few months away — at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens — and I couldn’t be more excited.
